Replying to @J233823 So, yes, this season is giving a lot of mixed signals about how active or not active it will be. But, here’s the takeaway: we’ve got a long season left to go. Typically, 86% of all named storms form in the Atlantic AFTER August 2! And, on average, the first hurricane doesn’t form until August 11. We’ve got a long time to watch this season play out.
