For the one-year anniversary of the 2024 Gaza Solidarity Encampment, The UCSD Guardian sat down with eight of the 20 people featured in the 2024 project, Voices from Inside the Encampment, to see where they stand now. In our interviews, these activists reflected not only on their personal experiences, but on the structural effects of their actions, the future of the encampment movement, and the present challenges of protesting under the second Trump administration. The Guardian has organized their responses according to common areas of reflection that emerged in our conversations to best represent a picture of their post-encampment lives.
