We’re proud to announce Tautvydas Sabonis as the new Head Coach of the London Lions for the 25/26 season. 🦁 At just 33 years old, Sabonis joins the Lions from Lithuanian giants Žalgiris Kaunas, where he quickly rose through the coaching ranks after a successful playing career across Europe. Known for his elite player development and tactical focus, he’s now stepping into his first head coach role, and he’s doing it in the heart of London. With a new home on the horizon and a return to European competition in the 25/26 BKT EuroCup, the Lions are entering a pivotal new phase, and Sabonis is the man to lead it. 🗣️ “Tautvydas is such an exciting person to lead the team into the next step of our project. He’s already made people take notice across Europe. Now he’s got the keys to an ambitious project, and we believe he’ll bring something truly special to the Lions.” – Martynas Purlys, GM 🎟️ Secure your seat for the 2025/2026 Season Now!
