I always wear lucky numbers on my jersey to represent “make your own luck.” It’s my big life view—that putting in the work is what makes you lucky. It started as a kid, wearing #13 since no one wanted to wear the unlucky number. In college and rec, I shifted to #21. When my TBT teammate had already claimed it, I figured I’d try lucky #7 for something new… and I kinda love the way it looks.
