🚠 Sun Valley has seriously upgraded its lift game over the past few seasons. Here’s what’s new on the mountain: A couple winters ago, the resort removed the aging Challenger and Greyhawk lifts at the Warm Springs base and replaced them with two brand-new detachables: the Challenger 6-Pack and the Flying Squirrel high-speed quad. The new Challenger lift combines the routes of both old chairs, runs 20% faster, and keeps the mid-mountain unload for easy access to the same terrain as before. Meanwhile, the Flying Squirrel takes a completely new line, making it way easier to get to terrain south of Warm Springs. The result? Way better flow, easier laps, and less crowding in this part of the mountain.
