Are mini drivers the future of golf? 🤔 Or are they just another passing trend? Mini drivers burst onto the scene in 2014, when TaylorMade launched the SLDR Mini - a club built to bridge the gap between a driver and a 3-wood. Back then, it was seen as a niche experiment. But now? Titleist, PXG, and TaylorMade are all making them - and they’re even popping up in Tour bags. A mini driver is basically a mixture between a compact driver and a strong 3-wood. Compared to a driver It’s got a smaller head around 350cc, a higher loft usually 11 to 13 degrees, and a shorter shaft around 43 inches.
