From child psychology to shaping the laws that help keep Victorians safe, Dr Georgina Lee’s path into policy wasn’t planned, but it's where she’s found purpose.
Georgina began her career with a PhD in child psychology. While she enjoyed solving complex problems, she knew research wasn’t where she wanted to stay. Looking for something more practical and applied, a chance job ad led her to Victoria Police.
Though she no longer uses her psychology training in a clinical sense, she still draws on its core strengths - problem solving, logic, and analytical thinking.
