Three members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) were killed during an explosion at an LASD training facility early Friday morning, the sheriff's office confirmed to The National News Desk. The sheriff's office described it as "a critical workplace incident." Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna said it the largest loss of life within the department since 1857.
