Some simple #sambo techniques. There is Brazilian Ju-jitsu. Do know there is a Russian version of Ju-jitsu too. Judo and Ju-jitsu were Russified and mixed with Russian Cossack martial arts called “The Steps” and this was mixed into again with all the martial arts within the nations that the Soviet Union was comprised of. I know what someone what a great BJJ opponent might try on me, I know what a Boxer might try on me but we have no idea what a good Sambist will do because there are countless variations of each move. BJJ is the anaconda and Sambo is the kraken. I love BJJ and started off with Royce Gracie and have trained privately with him when I was 8 and 16. For some reason Sambo had such an impact on me that I tattooed САМБО beside my left ear. I wouldn’t have done that if I wasn’t proficient at it.
