As Ramadan draws to a close and Afghanistan welcomes Eid, we’ve been able to support a group of courageous women in Kabul and Parwan with essential food packages. Since the fall of Kabul in August 2021, I’ve been committed to standing with these women—victims of violence, widows, and those battling illness—providing financial and practical aid. Regular efforts to provide for and uplift these women are essential. Let’s not forget them; let’s empower them. Together, we can make a difference.
