I’m not sure if I made this video to help someone else feel seen or if I made it as self-therapy to remind myself how far I’ve come. Waitressing at Chili’s and Golden Corral. Babysitting, pet sitting, retail jobs, work studies. Donating plasma just to afford Christmas gifts. Getting certified as a personal trainer to make ends meet between gigs. It’s a reminder that nothing happens overnight. Every job I’ve worked got me one step closer to the dream. Every yes mattered.
