The mother of singer #SeanKingston was sentenced Wednesday to five years in prison and three years of probation after being convicted alongside her son in a federal wire fraud case involving more than $1 million. #JaniceTurner, 63, and Kingston, 35, whose legal name is Kisean Anderson, were found guilty of one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and four counts of wire fraud. Kingston is scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 28. Turner will have to pay restitution, but her attorney said most of the businesses were made whole. Federal prosecutors said the charges stemmed from a 2024 scheme to defraud vendors of luxury items, including high-end vehicles and jewelry.
