On Friday, July 18th, University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Director of Athletics Jason Verdugo announced the hiring of Jarrad Vroman as head coach for the Blugolds’ women’s ice hockey team. Vroman, a native of Lincoln Park, MI, played three seasons for #UWEC after transferring from Stevenson after one season. He skated in 88 career games, 63 with the Blugolds, while putting together 8 goals & 25 assists for 33 points overall. His line was 6/19 (25) for his alma mater. The Blugolds would capture a #WIAC Regular Season title in 2020 & the 2022 Commissioner’s Cup with Vroman on the blue line. Vroman left UWEC his senior season in 2022 to go pro. He’d sign with the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs in the #SPHL skating in eleven games to finish the season. In 2022-2023, Vroman dressed in 54 games for Roanoke putting up 18 points (4/14) before posting three assists in 9 playoff games. Overall, Vroman would skate in 18 career playoff games for the Rail Yard Dawgs. Vroman retired from his playing days...
