I was recently asked the famous “why are you single?” And the simple answer is because… I choose single. I have been given the standard answers about my decision - you’ll die alone, you’re not open, you need therapy, and etc., as if there is something wrong with choosing single🤷🏽‍♀️ In this current space, my singleness empowers me and I am happy in it. I’ve worked long and hard for some freedoms that I currently possess, and I’m using this season to fully enjoy them. The beauty of life is that we are free to change and grow… and make decisions for our lives that cause us to thrive!
