The original cut was from hairbycharcelle in DC… this video is Geneva theartofglamnyc from h2salonbrooklyn going in and giving me a deep trim/small cut and cleanup. We have come up with a year-long plan that includes some protective styling along the way that will help me achieve my hair goals. Part of the problem was the last haircut I got was in August, and I’m a regular every six weeks person (especially because she is a paid actor, and needs her maintenance)🤭…. So I was wayyyyy past due for this trim/cut, and it is reflected in the split ends. The closing of 2024 was super busy and I just wasn’t able to get to DC🤷🏽‍♀️ Now - when I talk about density, my hair is more dense at the root than the end and I would like the strand to be as consistent as it can be all the way down … and that will happen with lower manipulation and lower heat. Also, now that my hair is more gray than it is black, it was time for me to adjust the heat anyway. So the new cut is basically the same style...
