As Shark Week comes to a close, we’re excited to highlight Gold Award Girl Scout Rhianna Johnson and her impactful project: Shark Awareness 🦈 Rhianna noticed a rising number of people afraid of sharks, which she found troubling and often linked to a lack of education and awareness. She set out to promote a more accurate understanding of these animals and support conservation efforts. To help change these statistics, she conducted workshops and visited classrooms across all age groups to educate others about sharks and reduce their fears. Through this project, Rhianna developed important skills like public speaking, problem-solving, and time management.
