There’s something special having grown up in Canton, Ohio—where summer didn’t just mean warm nights and backyard cookouts, it meant Enshrinement Week, the Balloon Classic, and the Grand Parade lighting up the streets with hometown pride. This week, the air feels different. Hopefully the sky fills with color and the weather cooperates, the sound of marching bands echoes through the neighborhoods, and the entire city comes alive to celebrate the game that shaped a nation—and a community that shaped so many of us.
