The Miners win! ⛏️ Sussex County rolled the Brockton Rox, 8-1, in the back end of the doubleheader at Campanelli Stadium. The Miners won the series in Brockton, MA, and return home for a short break before heading up to Canada for a three-game set against the Trois-Rivières Aigles. In tonight’s contest, Sussex County jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning and never looked back. Designated hitter Dom Johnson (pictured above; dominicjohnsonn) went 3-for-4, scored two runs, and raised his average to .322. Second baseman Hunter D’Amato (hunter_damato) recorded two hits, scored a run, and drove in another.
