Last week we had the opportunity to bring together 130 students for a compelling discussion with filmmakers Ken Burns and David Schmidt of THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION, coming to PBS NC in November 2025. Many thanks to our partners at the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources! Then, we hosted a profound screening and discussion of clips from THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION. This powerful panel moderated by David Crabtree featured Ken Burns and historians, Kathleen DuVal and Warren Milteer, Jr, took us on a fascinating journey through the narratives that built our nation. This event was part of the America 250 NC initiative and the kickoff to PBS North Carolina's work to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the founding of our nation.
