Teflon + Class five 😅 Can you use teflon in class five cavities? Not only is it possible, for subgingival cases it is Dr Linc's most preferred method. 1. Pack teflon hard. This will compress the blood vessels. 2. Gingivectomy with any finishing bur you have handy. No water. High speed. Possibly will need quick scrub with viscostat clear. 3. You now have perfect tissue control to continue on.
