Former Phillies manager Ryne Sandberg, a Chicago Cubs legend and Hall of Famer, died on Monday following a battle with prostate cancer. He was 65. Sandberg was drafted by the Phillies in 1978 and called up to the majors in the 1981 season. After the season, the Phillies traded Sandberg to the Cubs, and he spent 15 years with the club.
