12-year-old Chinese phenom Yu Zidi finished just 0.06 seconds off a bronze medal at the World Aquatics Championships on Monday. The youngster clocked in at 2:09.21 in the women’s 200m individual medley final, recording a personal-best time and even leading the pack for a portion of the race. Incredibly, that event is probably Yu’s weakest race at this year’s championships.
