When you enter the stadium to watch the women of the @wer_denver play, it’s nothing short of magical. Between the fans and the talent of the athletes - it is so much fun. I was talking with a friend about their experience at the first home game and we both mentioned that we teared up at the end of the match. 🥹 That’s the impact that these athletes have on their communities. This wouldn’t exist without them. 🤲🏻 This match was a tough one for me. I left feeling like I missed the mark on how I wanted to shoot - deciding to set up sideline and then a pass gets picked and it heads the other way for a try. That’s what happens when both teams bring it, nothing is a sure thing. Not to mention the sun playing hide & seek during pretty much every play. Additionally, for repeat events like these home games, I try to bring something fun to the table: a different perspective, film, Polaroids, a pop of flash (shoutout @alexwohlphotography), etc!
