Focus on the light, not the algorithm. 2024 was a year of self-awareness. I realized that I wasn't the best photographer, student, teacher, or son, and that I needed to improve significantly. The year began with me getting a new DSLR, the Canon 200D II. This amazing camera helped me push boundaries in terms of pixels and flexibility. The start was fantastic. I had struggled a lot with my Canon 1000D, but I always managed somehow. The Canon 200D II, however, leveled up my game. I used to consider myself a great photographer, which is something I should believe in, but it also brought ego with it. Gradually, I realized that I wasn't as good a photographer as I thought, I was just lucky that things happened in front of me, and I was able to capture their stories through my camera. I almost decided to drop photography but I can see things clearly now.. I am a lot behind what others are able to do these days and I still have a very long way to go.
