With the Americans with Disabilities Act celebrating its 35th anniversary July 26, 2025, and concurrently Denver's Civic Center Station is being considered for a renaming in honor of disability rights advocate Rev. Wade Blank, who led the Gang of 19 protests in 1978.
We would like to celebrate and reflect on these moments as we cast our eye towards the future with the Atlantis Community who have played a central role in advocacy and change, not only in Denver but nationally.
