Thailand and Cambodia have agreed to an immediate and unconditional ceasefire after five days of deadly fighting along their shared border. The deal was reached during emergency talks hosted in Malaysia, where Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim brought the two sides together with support from China and the United States.⁣ ⁣ The ceasefire will take effect at midnight local time Monday and marks the end of the most intense military confrontation between the neighbors in over a decade.
