In 2005 Ken made his rallying debut, entering in the Rally America Championship (which included Pikes Peak back then) and chasing a dream he had always wanted to chase. Not only that, but in that year he won Rookie of the Year in a 2005 Subaru WRX STI sporting the first car livery he ever designed: his iconic snow-camo livery. He also used the same livery for the Gumball 3000 that year. Fast forward to 2023, both Lia Block and Travis Pastrana sport snow-camo liveries on their vehicles in honor of Ken. Lia’s being a 2013 Subaru BRZ rally car (where she won the ARA Open 2WD Championship and became the youngest ever championship winner in the ARA series at just 16 years old) and Travis’ being his Group E Nitrocross FC1-X car (which he piloted to victory at the 2022-2023 Glen Helen Nitrocross round).
