*Proud Dad post: my daughter Lia got the opportunity to race the “SxS” class at the NitroRallycross race at Glen Helen Raceway (CA) last weekend – and she did great! She was “thrown to the wolves” by getting no testing or practice in the race prepped CanAmOffroad Maverick X3’s before the weekend, and her first practice was on track with Pastrana, Deegan, Robin Schute, etc.! She adapted well and learned – starting conservatively then working up to a good speed by the end. She finished 5th on Sunday and even held off a hard-charging moto legend (Jeff “Chicken” Matiasevich) for three laps! Her only incidents over the weekend were from contact by Leticia Bufoni (Leticia had a rough weekend), so that shows me just how measured this 16-year-old approached and drove smart for the whole event. #prouddad #CanAmMaverickX3 #NitroRallycross
