UW-Whitewater Women’s Basketball, #9, emerged victorious with a convincing 79-55 win over Ripon College in their home opener in the Kachel Gym on Wednesday, Nov. 15. The game was not only notable for the team’s success on the court, but also for their active participation in the Hoops for Hunger campaign, which helps The Community Space in Whitewater to assist individuals in need. Overall, the Warhawks displayed skill, teamwork, and community involvement, making their home opener a resounding success.
