***CARING*** This morning I was reminded of the importance to put others ahead of yourself, and that even the smallest act of kindness can go a long way to making someone’s day. My doorbell rang earlier this morning, and when I opened the door I was greeted by one of our friend’s daughters who was waiting on our front step with two cupcakes baked fresh for my boys. It’s not the first time that a member of our neighbourhood group has dropped off a gift to each of our houses, but it’s always a nice feeling to know that others are thinking of you. Our families are no different, and a gesture as small as a smile, a hug, or an “I love you” can set someone’s day off in the right direction. As we head into the brighter, sunnier days of spring I’d love to hear about the little things that someone has done to make your day.
