“Leaving Home” by David French The East Coast has come to visit Toronto, and contrary to the story’s name, getting to be in the theatre for this production was nothing short of a homecoming. It is devastatingly moving to behold the way this play and its characters move through the weathering of domestic anger, the cries for independence, and the safety of nostalgia’s warmth.
