#SummerXMoody: Kyla Simmons just recently graduated #TEXASMoody with her utexasrtf degree! She’s spending her summer in Los Angeles attending the utlaprogram, and she’s enjoying the vibes in the sunny coastal city. Kyla is interning at Underground Films and is a big fan of the movies they produce. Her favorite part about the internship is working under utexasrtf alumni. “I am using my RTF Skills of Screenwriting and the understanding of story structure and character arcs to help with my Script Coverage.” Kyla said the most interesting part of her internship is attending the development meetings, where she gets to learn about the projects on their slate and how they determine staffing for each project. She is attending the UTLA program because she wants to apply the knowledge she learned in film school to the professional industry in Hollywood and see if Los Angeles is a place where she can thrive.
