In Canada, 1 in 66 children struggles with movement and could benefit from motor therapy, but therapy is often too costly or too far away.
That’s why Dr. Elaine Biddiss, senior scientist at the Bloorview Research Institute, and her team are developing fun, digital therapy tools—like video games—to help kids build strength and confidence both at the hospital and at home.
Thanks to new funding, the team is now exploring how to track progress through these tools, helping more kids across Canada access care remotely, while providing researchers and clinicians with the insights they need to improve therapy outcomes.
🎮 Better access. Smarter care. Brighter futures.
