One recent shoot took her to the World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia, where she documented the interconnected story of Ningaloo and the nearby Exmouth Gulf—a critical, yet unprotected, estuary that serves as a nursery for dugongs, manta rays, humpbacks, and more. Filming during a brutal heatwave and severe coral bleaching event, Alice and her team found themselves face-to-face with the impacts of the climate crisis, both above and below the surface.
