A few people have reached out me to and asked “Has the gym been helping? Are you better now?”
The easy answer is “Yes,” my daily mood has improved and I’ve been experiencing more moments of happiness; but the hard answer is “NOT YET” because the truth is, my body is still fighting against “Persistent Sadness.”
The Hard Part about depression is the literal definition: It is a “A condition characterized by consistent sadness that impacts mood, appetite, behavior, causes loss of interests and affects consistent sleep.”
Depression has taken time to accumulate in my life and so it will take time to dissolve in my life. Moving my body is the first step and the first of many joyful habits I’m looking to replace my sadness with in the increment of 21 days. So here’s the answer to the question👇🏾
