Road safety 🤝 local sport⁣ ⁣ Last weekend, our police officers and footy and netball clubs across the state participated in the tacvictoria road safety round.⁣ ⁣ The annual initiative is an opportunity for local clubs to reflect on how they can promote and support their members to be safer on our roads, with this year’s round focussed on speeding.⁣ ⁣ Did you know speeding is a contributing factor in at least 30% of fatal and 25% of serious injury crashes on Victorian roads?⁣ ⁣ Players and our officers wore blue armbands in honour of those who have lost their lives on the roads - in Victoria alone, that's 179 people. 💙⁣ ⁣ vicsesnews⁣ ⁣ #RoadSafety #TACBandTogether #LocalFooty #Footy
