✨Apne II✨ ‘apne — our own’ — visual project dedicated to Diasporic Panjabi/Punjabi identity: 📌Panjab/Punjab, the land of five rivers, is a colourful community of different religions, states, cultures and histories. Panjabi/Punjabi are resilient, kind, and determined people’s.💯 This visual project demonstrates how deep the Panjabi/Punjabi bounds go, some of them going as far to Romania, Uganda, and Tanzania.✔️We represented their respective heritages in the multi-coloured gota braid that consists of the flag colours of Romania (Bebake) & Tanzania and Uganda (Lyla).🌸🌺 ✨Bebake (bebake.bains) has Romanian & Punjabi heritage. ✨Lyla (lyla_malik) has East African & Pakistani heritage.
