Panicked sea lions dove into sea as a magnitude 8.8 earthquake hit the island of Antsiferov just off the shores of Russia's Kamchatka peninsula. The island is known as a natural habitat for Steller sea lions, a large, near-threatened species of sea lion. As the quake hit the island, rocks started falling and prompted the animals to jump into sea for safety.
