Wanna create water wave magic in your shots with just ONE light? 👇🏾
Here’s the sauce:
✨ 1 backdrop
✨ 1 Mylar roll
✨ 1 continuous light (
#Nanlite FS300B—thank me later)
Set your ISO up since you’re not using strobes, and kill the room lights for max effect. I keep my FS300B at 30-40% power, Kelvin around 3700, and just the stock dome—it’s all you need.
🎯 KEY TIP:
The distance of your light changes everything:
📍 Closer = BIGGER, more spread-out waves
📍 Further = finer, detailed ripples
Angle matters too—get that light low to bounce perfectly off the Mylar. That’s how you get that wild, wavey look 🌊
No Mylar? I gotchu. Drop a ⚙️ in the comments and don’t forget to tag a creative who needs this—link coming your way.
