On the "Stories with Brisco and Bradshaw" podcast, Jimmy Hart shared a behind-the-scenes story about Hulk Hogan being left "devastated" by the negative crowd reaction he received at the debut episode of WWE Raw on Netflix in January 2025. Hart recounted the event in Los Angeles, where Hogan was booed by the live crowd, a reaction Hart attributed to Hogan's public support for Donald Trump. "He had a Trump-Vance t-shirt on... we get out, man, we go, and all of a sudden I hear a few of the people like, 'Booo.' I'm going, 'You know what, this doesn't feel right,'" Hart said. According to Hart, the negative reaction deeply affected Hogan. "But that devastated him," Hart revealed. "And we got in the back and he said, 'What do you think happened?'
