❗️Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa has officially confirmed that the Ram 1500 TRX, powered by the supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat V8, will return to production.
The original TRX was discontinued in early 2024 due to tightening emissions regulations, but changes in regulatory direction and strong customer demand have prompted Stellantis to bring the high-performance truck back.
The new TRX is expected to debut as a 2026 model with production starting in January 2026 at the Sterling Heights Assembly Plant in Michigan.
The returning TRX will likely feature an upgraded version of the Hellcat engine, originally rated at 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque, potentially surpassing those figures to outperform rivals like the 720-hp Ford Raptor R.
This move signals Stellantis’s renewed focus on performance under the SRT brand and its decision to reintroduce V8 engines, including the 5.7-liter Hemi, across select models.
