When she was a little girl in Greensburg, her heart was set on someday hosting a TV show in which she would travel across the U.S. so she could try every french fry in America.
On Saturday, the University of Pittsburgh grad — who instead became a nuclear submarine officer in the Navy — got a taste of what that life might have entailed as one of five contestants (and the sole female) in Kennywood Park’s first-ever Potato Patch french fry eating contest.
