The 35th Edition of the Independence Cup was an inspiring display of tenacity, focus, skill and determination. Sailors from all over North America came to Chicago for the yearly competition (and former qualification for the US Paraolympic Sailing team). It was a blast being back on the lake that I grew up on, with the city of Chicago on full display last weekend. Congrats to ALL the competitors and a big thank you to the staff, volunteers and crew to put on such an awesome event.
