Just wanted to share some information that might help some people better understand how equalization payments work in Canada. For some reason a lot of people believe that some provinces directly pay other provinces money every year. Whether or not someone agrees or disagrees with how this works is not the point of this post - just sharing 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙞𝙩 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨.
