From Rocky Top to Rio Earlier this summer, Cade Phillips traveled with Tennessee’s VOLeaders Academy to Brazil for a 10-day cultural exchange trip — a dynamic service opportunity for student-athletes to refine their leadership skills on and off the court. The VOLeaders Academy is a first-of-its-kind program based on a year-long curriculum that provides applied leadership and service opportunities focused on community enrichment through sport. Through VOLeaders, Tennessee student-athletes are empowered to lead and serve through sport-based community engagement and international cultural exchange.
