It was an incredible experience to be part of the inaugural Puerto Rico Nuclear Engineering Bootcamp - hosted by americannuclear , charlyneamsmith , and Nuclear Alternative Project. While we worked with these bright students, we challenged them to think critically about their island and power infrastructure. We learned how we got to where we are today, the unique challenges that islands face, and discussed various paths forward along with the tradeoffs and benefits of each.
