Electric companies are working overtime to make your utility bill higher. 💡The expansion of tech and AI is driving up energy demands, and customers are being forced to pay the price. AI is not cheap. It costs us incredible amounts of water and electricity, and it releases toxins in the air that hurt the environment and the people who live nearby. These AI data centers are not being built just anywhere, they’re strategically placed in Black and brown communities – this is digital redlining. We need our state Attorney Generals to act.
