I’m constantly in awe of both how much modern science has uncovered about fertility and reproductive health and also the massive gaps that still exist in our knowledge. For protocols like acupuncture, it’s true that studies and meta-analyses have conflicting conclusions and no definitive evidence (so far). But I’m not here as Reviewer 2, I’m here as an IVF patient right ahead of her next embryo transfer attempt after a devastating previous cycle and a multi-year journey. I’m approaching things like acupuncture with an open mind and an optimistic heart and a listening ear to the many women who swear by it.
