4 years ago I walked away from the game… I was down bad.
After 6 years overseas and in the states, chasing a dream, I came home feeling like I failed. Got into the wrong things. Lost myself. Lost the love for the game. I didn’t leave basketball I left a version of me that was broken.
But in that low season… I found a new path. I found purpose. I found peace.
Training became my way back in. I gave everything I had to others. Helped pros rise. Trained NBA guys. Built a name, a legacy as a trainer.
And somewhere in the middle of all that I healed. I fell back in love with the game in a whole new way. And slowly… the fire came back.
This time, I’m stepping on the court not to prove anything… but because I want to. With peace. With confidence. With love.
To everyone who reached out texted, called, reposted, pulled up, or just showed love last night thank you. That meant the world to me.
This is my comeback story. And we’re just getting started. 🏀
