Are you a beginner, or adult dancer, looking for additional training? Joffrey Ballet School offers four Beginner Ballet OPEN CLASSES every week!⁠ ⁠ The beginner level is for adults who have taken at least 1 year of Ballet and have a basic understanding of the terminology and foundations of ballet. ⁠ ⁠ Beginner Ballet is the level above the “Basic Beginner” and below the “Beginner Intermediate” levels. At the Beginner level, dancers incorporate ballet foundations into a full ballet class with exercises at the barre, in the center, and across the floor. ⁠ ⁠ The core emphasis of this level will be on understanding and improving proper alignment, posture, rotation, and flexibility.
